The Landscapes Resilience Fund is a public-private partnership that aims to mobilise USD 100 million by 2026 for climate adaptation projects that support sustainable agricultural and forestry supply chain. #COP16Colombia How can the conservation sector support national planning for 30x30? Our Executive Director, Scott Edwards, says "Stakeholder engagement is KEY". Scott spoke on a panel in the #GEFPartnershipPavilion at the side event National Plans for Inclusive, Equitable, and Effective Advancement of KM-GBF Target 30x30. "Getting to 30x30 is going to affect a lot of people in many different ways, some more favorably than others, and the more they have input and engagement early on in the process, the greater amount of buy-in you'll have and success in your implementation" CSF believes that the most effective work is collaborative, and we prioritize building lasting, symbiotic partnerships with stakeholders from the government to local communities, who are then in a better position to implement our recommendations and strategies for a stronger nature-based economy. #OurProject We're advising the Bolivian government on their Nationally determined contributions?(NDCs), specifically providing research and recommendations for a more sustainable forestry sector. Part of our work involves highlighting the powerful economic contributions that Bolivian forests make to the country's economy. Our recent study found that based on just 6 ecosystem services, each hectare of the #ChiquitanoDryForests adds a value of up to USD 3,000 to the Bolivian economy every year.
