Little Miranda’s Discovery is an enduring story of a little girl named Miranda who loves spending time with her grandmother, who lives on a large piece of land in a big, purple house that sits among a field of lilies. On this visit, Little Miranda and her grandmother have spent the day baking cookies, cooking supper, and spending quality time sitting in Grandma’s favorite rocking chair on her lap on her big country porch, giggling at the bunnies and taking in the nature surrounding them. During this special time, Little Miranda turns to her grandmother and asks some important questions about life. Look inside to see Grandma’s response and discover, along with Miranda, the beauty and simple message about God’s love.

?????????????? ????????????: ?????????????? ???????? ?????? ???????????? ???? ??????????????! Happy Saturday, LinkedIn folks! ?? As we roll into the weekend, let's take a moment to riff with the philosopher Mick Jagger. He famously crooned, "?????? ??????'?? ???????????? ?????? ???????? ?????? ????????," and while that may strike a chord with us, let's not forget the next line that keeps the melody of hope alive: "?????? ???? ?????? ?????? ??????????????????, ????????, ?????? ?????????? ????????, ?????? ?????? ???????? ?????? ????????." ?? In our pursuit of goals, both personal and professional, we often face the music that our wants and the universe's offerings aren't always in harmony. But isn't there a bit of rock 'n' roll in realizing that sometimes, just sometimes, what we need is handed to us in the encore of our efforts? As we unwind this weekend, let's muse on this: our wants are the flashy headline acts, but our needs are the classic tunes that stand the test of time. Maybe we're not headlining at Glastonbury with our every desire, but we're rocking the local pub with what we truly need—and isn't that an encore worth celebrating? So, let's jam with Jagger's wisdom and recognize that while we can't always strum every string we want, if we play the chords right, we'll harmonize with what we need. And often, that's the real hit single of our lives. Share your stories of a time when trying hard led you to what you needed, not just what you wanted. Let's swap tales of satisfaction found in unexpected places! #WeekendVibes #MickJaggerWisdom #SuccessStories #LifeLessons

Speaking your truth into action is my personal goal but if anyone ever felt that silence was the norm. Please listen to the below Ted talk. Pay inequality is a silent issue within the miniority black woman community it’s no wonder we are challenged to acquire so many degrees but to find that our pay is still less than equal to a white male employee. As I welcome speaking up, I am more empowered to implement these three things below: 1. Did I mean what I say? 2. Can I defend my statement? 3. Did you say it with love?
"When it's time to say these hard things, I ask myself three things. One: Did you mean it? Two: Can you defend it? Three: Did you say it with love?" Watch Luvvie Ajayi Jones' full talk here: https://t.ted.com/7wG5fkb

I completely resonate with this. It’s often difficult to be the first, but being the first means that you are the last; blazing a new path for others. Through this be the first - The first to smile, the first to start a conversation, the first to greet, the first to admit a mistake, the first to listen. The first to admit when you are wrong, the first to laugh at yourself, the first to apologize, the first to forgive. But most importantly the first to take that leap of faith.

ON WHY WE NEED DOMINOES l absolutely love this TedEX video in which Ms Ajayi-Jones speaks so earnestly about dominoes In a world where conformity and silence are often rewarded, speaking truth to power requires a rare blend of courage, integrity, wisdom and fire for the common good. The courage to confront the uncomfortable, to question the unquestionable, and to risk it all for the sake of what is right – not just for ourselves, but for the common and therefore greater good. The integrity to remain steadfastly commited to our values, our principles, and our convictions: - even when it is hard, - even when it is unpopular, and - even when it is at a personal financial or other cost Wisdom to know when to speak, how to speak, and to whom to speak. It's the ability to navigate complex webs of power, to read the room, and to tailor our message for maximum impact – always with the common good in mind. To be effective and impactful leaders we will need to establish avenues through which we can be armed with the true state of our organizational affairs in order for them to successfully thrive in these VUCA times, bearing in mind that the higher we get as leaders, without intentionally enabling it, from trusted parties, the truth will elude us if we do not intentionally encourage it, given the tendency for subordinates to tell their bosses what they feel they want to hear. Leaders need to be dominoes and encourage dominoes. #SpeakingTruthToPower #Courage #Integrity #Wisdom #CommonGood #Justice #Leadership #BeTheDomino
