What are three types of nonprofits...? Read on, grasshopper. Quick intro first. As relates to sustaining giving, Dave defines three main types of nonprofits (there are more nuances but for simplicity he went with three here). 1) orgs that offer one-to-one relationship to sustaining donors, think child sponsorships. 2) membership organizations that provide tangible benefits and access 3) everyone else It's that everyone else that really needs to crack the nut of sustainable giving.
