Today marks the 17th annual World Autism Awareness Day. The prevalence of autism has grown exponentially over the past 20 years. Autism affected 1 in every 36 children here in the United States. The odds are likely that someone you know has or will be diagnosed, and the odds that you know someone who has been affected by autism are even greater. While we are focused on building a new approach to care 365 days a year, it's important that we all try to bring more awareness and action today. #autismawarenessday #autismacceptance
