Media relations still play an important role for us and our clients here at Knights Media & Public Relations #KnightsMPR#KnightsMPR, providing a really effective channel to help announce, amplify and position them as market leaders, innovators and thought leaders. It also enables us to help them reach out to critical audiences in their key markets in a way that other techniques might struggle to do on such a scale. An example of this is reflected in the recent activity on behalf of our client TotalEnergies Marine Fuels. The announcement of its first B100 biofuel bunkering operation in Singapore – the first time it had bunkered a 100% biofuel manufactured using Used Cooking Oil Methyl Ester (UCOME) – represents a major step forward in the drive towards low carbon fuels in the global shipping industry. Within 72 hours of sending out the release, we had generated more than 100 pieces of press coverage, securing positive headlines across the world’s key maritime, shipping, ports and energy press, in addition to internationally recognised news platforms including Reuters. Measuring its impact, in addition to the press coverage secured in critical markets, the announcement delivered 231 million online impressions, and generated an Equivalent Advertising Value of £4.3 million. Just one of the techniques we use to great effect for our clients. For media relations, communications and brand flaring campaigns that can make a real difference for your business – talk to us: ? Global: Jason Knights, Founder and Lead Director ([email protected]) UK / Europe: Graham Buckley, Senior Consultant ([email protected]) APAC: Sabina Zawadzki, Senior Consultant ([email protected]) North America: Nancy Dunnahoe, Senior Consultant ([email protected]) You can discover more about what we do at www.knightsmpr.com. #maritime #energy #pr #communications

Individuals in roles such as #PublicRelationsSpecialist or #PublicRelationsManager become more effective professionals when they have diverse experience in their field. Those working under their supervision gain a clearer understanding of their responsibilities. Contrary to common perception in Iran, public relations is a highly specialized field crucial for establishing and developing both internal and external communications. All human achievements are first perfected in the cognitive and communication domains before they come to fruition. A Public Relations Manager holds a highly dynamic role with multiple responsibilities. They need to be familiar with the intricacies of their work, have a passion for continuous learning and staying updated in the fields of technology and communication, and act as a driving force for awareness and information dissemination within the organization. The Public Relations Manager oversees the flow of information within the organization. Therefore, to achieve success, dynamic organizations select individuals for these roles who are psychologically distinct from those employed in other departments. This distinction highlights the organization’s and the #TalentManagement department’s ability to monitor and make informed decisions.

We asked one of our judges, Bedy Krisztina, to give her thoughts relating to the question?"What is the responsibility of the public relations industry in green communication and why do you think it is important to reward public relations projects?". Please take a look at what she had to say about it. "The public is now broadly aware of global problems caused by climate change, partly due to a few pioneers, partly due to unfortunate events, but also to communicators who have made it clear to their clients that green issues have value. These issues are not matters of interest, rather duties. On the other hand, the green transition is not only a policy issue, but also a communication issue, as it is necessary to convince society to support the ideas. At the same time, the impact of a product on the environment has become a factor influencing the purchase, thus we cannot avoid the problem of greenwashing. Greenwashing would not exist without communication; it is rather communication than anything else - misleading. ?The major problem is with it that for companies, greenwashing destroys the trust and the credibility of reliable market players. The task of Public Relations is to take back credibility and that's our responsibility. Real, measurable, trustworthy communication projects are needed, which are feasible to regain trust and to reduce skepticism. We need measures, data, and results behind every publication. This requires hard work, it has costs, but it is a worthy investment and is generally available because of developments, it just needs to be mined and used for communication. We must also acknowledge the projects to send out the message: greenwashing is not the way forward, but real actions are the future!"

Most of the functions of public affairs overlap with corporate communications, however, it is a more specialised domain that focuses on the legal/regulatory aspect of the business concern. While having academic experience is an added advantage, here are certain skillsets communications professionals can acquire to excel in this field. #eagersoul https://lnkd.in/dVMhxA_Z #publicaffairs #publicrelations #communications

World Innovation and Change Management Institute (WICMI) leads global leaders in preparing a Roman Declaration of Green Communication. On the initiative of the World Innovation and Change Management Institute (WICMI), the?drafting of the Roman Declaration of Green Communication Responsibility of the public relations industry has begun. The declaration will be formally presented and signed in Rome on 23rd September, 2025 at the PR ROMAN FORUM conference “Green Communications, Green Responsibility, ESG, Sustainable Heritage”. The WICMI initiative to date has the support of Federazione Relazioni Pubbliche Italiana (FERPI),?the International Public Relations Association (IPRA) and the International Communications Consultancy Organisation (ICCO). The adoption of ESG (Environment, Social, Governance) standards worldwide presents both an opportunity and challenge for public relations practice. The guidelines and recommendations in the declaration while recognizing PR’s key role in communicating the challenge of climate change and the transition to a green economy will also emphasize its responsibility for green communication. The declaration is being prepared by an Advisory Board chaired by Richard Linning, President of the World Innovation and Change Management Institute (WICMI), United Kingdom.
