#UnitedTherapeutics has prioritized responsible operations and reducing our environmental impacts on air and water in our communities. This led to the installation of about seven megawatts of onsite solar capacity across our real estate portfolio—about the amount equivalent to what’s needed to power almost 3,000 typical single-family homes in the U.S. annually. Our Phase Five warehouse in North Carolina is one proof point on the journey, winning multiple prestigious building awards this year, including the Institute for Sustainable Laboratories (I2SL) Lab Buildings and Project Award for Excellence in Resilience and Renewable Energy. ? WHAT ARE THE PROJECT'S INTENDED BENEFITS TO SOCIETY? ?? With the growth of renewable energy sources and a drive by policymakers at both national and European level to reduce the effects of climate change, the energy sector in Ireland is undergoing rapid change to meet the goals defined in programmes such as the Climate Action Plan and Net Zero Roadmap. Smart Grid Control – CyberPhysical Sandbox (SGC-CyPhySandbox) aims to further the goal of reducing the effects of climate change by addressing the challenges of deploying renewable energy sources to the grid, increasing their uptake. The two-year project partners Walton Institute at South East Technological University (SETU), University College Dublin (UCD) and NovoGrid. This pact, part of the EU’s Action Plan for Grids, unites Member States, regulators, DSOs, project promoters, and civil society with a shared mission to: 1) Highlight the Essential Role of Grids?in the energy transition. 2) Streamline Permitting Processes?for faster project delivery. 3) Accelerate Key Projects?through regional cooperation. 4) Ensure Regulatory Support?for community engagement. ENTSO-E is proud to have facilitated this significant step, strengthening collaboration among TSOs and stakeholders across Europe. By fostering this united approach, ENTSO-E is helping to drive the resilient, decarbonised grid Europe needs to support a sustainable energy future. ?????

Dears, Throughout my career over 04 decades, my observation during the travel of different countries, states etc, a growing trend of rooftop solar systems being established for power generation almost every roof top of houses and open spaces with a one-time investment, reducing the cost efficiency addressing the global energy challenge with a cost of production of Rs 3.00 (approx.) per unit, making it an extremely affordable and sustainable solution. By harnessing the power of the sun, we can significantly reduce our reliance on coal, thus decreasing carbon emissions and pollution. This shift to renewable energy not only helps the environment but also aligns with the government’s efforts to promote clean energy. It is my opinion to prefer the solar system which will benefit both the self and the nation, and will contribute to a greener, more sustainable future. By adopting this innovative technology, we can lead the way in reducing our carbon footprint and energy costs, creating a model for others to follow. Thanks
