“There are a lot of human eyes on the data,” says GLG Surveys specialist Maddie Benner. "We're able to detect answers that were curated by AI," she tells us. "We have to be 100% sure what we're sending our client is good quality." Maddie answers your questions about GLG surveys, what makes a good respondent, and more. ???
As much as I agree with all the above, on the importance of data quality provided to the client and the great work you are doing, I am wondering how you detect AI curated responses and whether you have a way to control the quality of the detection process. As an advisor on AI, I know that these tools typically utilise machine learning and natural language processing techniques to analyse linguistic patterns and structural features of the text. I also know that those tools are not fully reliable - so I would love to know more on what the process is here.
Why would I use AI to answer questions for a Client that is asking for my expertise? Call me old school but my actual knowledge "let's say for Food Safety" would be much more detailed and structed than a overveiw bot answers. Intersting topic, in these situations a client will want actaul factual data.
Maddie's dedication to ensuring quality in GLG surveys is truly commendable. It's reassuring to know that human expertise is applied to enhance the value of the data. Great work!
Good news! Since the release of chatGPT I see a lot of new scientists ??
