I heard a good presentation from Rick Satcher of MTEC on the DEFTECH call this morning. I will be on another MTEC call this afternoon. That will be three MTEC calls this week. I will write about this in my NC Military Report newsletter next Wednesday. MTEC is the Medical Technology Enterprise Consortium, which is a DoD funded organization "that focuses on the development of medical solutions that protect, treat, and optimize the health and performance of U.S. military personnel and civilians." Helping get innovative medical technology companies get their inventions up the readiness ladder and into the field.

Talkspace?has entered agreements with Tricare?East and West regional contractors to provide in-network virtual therapy services to ~9.5M military members and their families. The contracts are the latest expansion for the telehealth company, which began offering its services to?Humana Military?members in August. In the past year, Talkspace also has signed contracts with?Amazon, the?American Federation of Teachers?and?Charlie Health.?Terms of the contract were not disclosed. As part of its agreement with Tricare, Talkspace will work alongside Military Brands, which owns MyBaseGuide, a digital resource distributed to active-duty military personnel, civilians and their families who live and work on a military base. The company also will be a founding member of a new Military Brands support group for military spouses that is in development.

KG and Rheinmetall has been commissioned by the Federal Office of Bundeswehr Equipment, Information Technology and In-Service Support to digitize the command-and-control equipment of the land forces’ vehicle systems. ??The total volume of the contract, which has a term of six years, is €1.98bn gross.
