It is not user friendly, You can try to simplify the mobile app and find out a solution.Improve the UI design by adding buttons,checkboxes,radio boxes with a pop up description of related function. Quick take is the primary activity of a user to create a repository which could have example video on how to do. You can also add task board page where the next task to do after creating the repository. A collection of links with example videos step by step arranged in accordance of common tasks that may be applied on the software. A model which corresponds to ola.com vehicle app which is I think very easy to use.
You may also find it of benefit to determine what a “Git” is described as in many languages . ….
