Our Troop #72028 of the Girl Scouts of North East Ohio had an incredible adventure visiting the Fire Department for a day of safety training and a behind-the-scenes tour! The girls got to explore the entire department, including the living quarters where firefighters stay during their shifts. ?? We learned so much, like: -How firefighters see through smoke ?? -The best ways to get to safety ??♀? -What happens inside an ambulance ?? -The heavy gear firefighters wear ?? -How fast their response time is ?? -The amazing jet skis and boats for water rescues ?? -And the BEST part? The girls got to use the fire hose!! ?? They had a blast and loved spending time with the brave firefighters who keep our community safe.
