This is a loss that must be discussed with each other, our communities, organisations, and governments. Starting in 2024, the World Suicide Prevention Day theme for the next three years is changing the narrative on suicide. Bringing awareness to the sensitive subject and having open empathy and support. By checking in on loved ones, keeping informed, sharing stories, and bringing proper training and events to communities and workplaces, we hope to build a safe, compassionate, and supportive environment.
