How to celebrate Chinese New Year like a dog This is my dog Snowy. Yesterday she celebrated her second Chinese New Year. This year, unlike the last, she was prepared. First, she checked out every house she visited, mapping every corner. Then, she stayed under the main table waiting for mana from heaven. A lot of people plus a lot of food equal food drops. Lastly, she figured out who will and won’t snack her, making sure to use her soulful eyes on the former. For this Year of the Snake, I am going to learn from my dog. 1. Explore new areas outside of my comfort zone boldly I’ll make sure when I get into new areas of growth that I fully understand what I’m getting into and map out the potential. 2. Understand the most valuable opportunities and position myself accordingly I tend to have too many things on my plate. This year, like Snowy, I will make sure to only park myself in the best spot. 3. Find out who are my best partners and collaborate with them Chinese believe in 贵人, benefactors who bless your life. Learning from Snowy, this year I will focus on my strongest partnerships and alliances. How has Chinese New Year been for you?
