May has passed and so has the health events associated with it...including the #menstrualhealth and #menstrualhygiene advocacy. But should we give only one month of conversation for something that affects more than half of the world's population every month? As I call to mind the recent passing of a Kenyan #endometrisis champion, #jahmykoikai, there's much left to do in the #menstrualhealth space. A lot more voices of advocacy, a lot more programs for education, and a lot more science based interventions for extreme adverse effects of this beautiful process of life.
