MOONTON GAMES has signed a memorandum of agreement with National University - Philippines the first of its kind! We've teamed up with the #Philippines' national university to mount community events, spearhead curriculum development, and provide mutual access to relative information for university endeavors such as immersion programs, internships, and researcher-student opportunities. We'll be launching journalism workshops on esports and gaming as part of our first activities. Launching next month, the workshops will see some of the nation's most esteemed esports and gaming journalists like AC Coloma of ABS-CBN Corporation, Michelle Lojo of Philstar.com, and Reynald Magallon of Manila Bulletin, Julian E. of ONE Esports, educate students on modern journalism fundamentals. These include topics like media ethics, basic sports writing, mobile journalism, leveraging social media like TikTok, and AI tools. After taking a break from competitive League of Legends a year ago, I'm excited to announce that I've reached Challenger Tier once again, placing me in the top 300 of all players in North America. On that note, I'll also be returning to school to complete a Master's in Analytics at Grand View University, where I'll be competing on their Varsity League of Legends team on a full esports scholarship. The past year has been a challenge for me regarding job searching. Finding a balance between professional pursuits and personal passions hasn’t been easy, but dedicating more time to both has led to more progression than I ever could’ve imagined. Moreover, I’m grateful to have found somewhere that allows me to continue doing what I love while also preparing me for a successful career in data science. As I look ahead to the summer of 2025, I’m actively seeking an internship where I can apply the skills I’ve honed through my League of Legends journey: ? ??XGS Summer internship?? It is week 4 of our summer internship. Time flies and the interns are reaching new milestones at their projects. During this week, two teams will meet with their clients to discuss their projects. During the meetings, the interns may encounter challenges such as addressing client expectations, managing time constraints, and effectively communicating their project progress. They need to prepare thoroughly, actively listen to the client's feedback, and adapt their approach accordingly in order to ensure successful client meetings.
