Normally engineers like to work in execution jobs. my expr of 34 years in industry, best is if you start your career in design. it's a long way. Design-Installation-Testing-Commissioning and when the project is completed, you are in operation or in maintenance job. There are other important things to do also: quantity survey, quality control, quality assurance, technical procurement and especially technical support. it is just a brief intro for young engineers for their career choice

There are a lot of things to consider in constructing a warehouse. Here's my tips. 1. Hiring a Triple (AAA) contractor is not a guarantee that you can expect a good result like quality output, hit the completion date and worst case scenario project abandon. Consider to hire not a AAA contractor but have a good client relationship and of course lot of warehouse completed project. 2. Hiring an International Project Management is not a guarantee that the project will be turn over to client on time especially if they are lack of technical experience and they are only good during meetings. Consider to hire a PM that is technically and commercially knowledgeable for warehouse project not on residential project. 3. Project cost shall be in reasonable price. The budget cost cannot guarantee to complete the project on time client must have a spare amount of money as back up. 4. Take note that Liquidated damages is not really happening in actual it still remains on the contract paper. 5.
