?? The #RTP Business Committee has recently approved updates to the RTP Participation and Operating Rules. Financial institutions can now enter into RTP Participant Agreements and Indemnities with approved Third-Party Service Providers (#TPSPs), instead of directly with The Clearing House for a more flexible and smooth process. ?? ??Important Update in #GST on IMS?? Taxpayers can take action on IMS (Invoice Management System) and it is available from 14th Oct'24. First GSTR2B will be generated on 14th Nov 24 for the period of Oct'24 based on actions taken in IMS. Note: It is not mandatory to take action on IMS for generating GSTR 2B.

It's time we address a critical issue that's been plaguing our business ecosystem for far too long: delayed payments to Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs). Did you know that despite the provisions laid out in the MSME Act, big companies, government, and semi-government bodies frequently default on timely payments to MSMEs? Under the MSME Act, payments beyond 45 days attract compound interest, providing some relief to the affected MSMEs. However, the reality is that facilitation councils set up to address these payment concerns often fail to adhere to the 90-day time period to clear cases. This delay not only affects the financial health of MSMEs but also defeats the very purpose of time-bound payments that MSMEs rely on for their operations and growth. Out of 1,76,726 cases mounting to Rs. 41,125 crores , almost 80,437 cases mounting to Rs. 19,973 crores is pending. https://lnkd.in/dE4xr4DQ In my opinion, it's high time we prioritize and fast-track these cases. Big companies and bodies that default on payments should face heavy penalties to ensure accountability and protect the interests of MSMEs. It's time to stand together and demand swift action to support the backbone of our economy – our MSMEs.
