Happy International Women's Day to all the women across SSP who contribute to our success. Today is more than a celebration; it's a day to amplify women's voices, celebrate achievements, and inspire future generations. At SSP, we believe in fostering a culture of belonging where every voice is not only heard but celebrated. We are proud of the progress we have made on gender diversity in the past year, exceeding the Board diversity target set by the FTSE Women Leaders Review, with 50% female Board representation. We have also committed to 40% female representation at senior leadership roles by 2025. To celebrate International Women’s Day, we held a panel with our four female Non-Executive Directors to hear their inspiring career stories, discuss what ‘Inspiring Inclusion’ means to them, and to share ways we can all help build a culture of belonging. Happy International Women’s Day! Inspire Inclusion!! was wondering for whom - by whom - by when Why do Women need to ask others to Inspire Inclusion? They themselves need to be inspired to be included to have a sense of identity, belonging, relevance, and empowerment. While organisation and family can play a role and be their cheer leaders but the majority of the work needs to be done by women themselves. Yes men need to bring a change in mindset to enable this to happen. When we inspire ourselves and also support others we can create better individuals, teams, organisations and a society. To Inspire Inclusion Women can start with self and build an inclusive environment for both women and men. This is not applicable for just one day but every single day, as this is a path of growth and journey and not a destination ! Here is wishing all women to be inspired themselves to create their space for inclusion and then spread it to other women and men so that it becomes a momentum.
