?? Netflix to stream some National Football League (NFL) games ?? For three years, #Netflix has secured the rights to stream #ChristmasDay NFL games. This marks the streaming platform's first foray into professional football and its most significant step into live sports. Netflix will broadcast two games on the holiday this year and at least one matchup in both 2025 and 2026, as per the National Football League's announcement on Wednesday. The deal will enable Netflix to display advertisements, including those integrated into live sporting events, to all its customers, not just subscribers to its ad-supported plan. Netflix reported a 700% surge in subscribers to the tier, reaching 40 million, compared to a year ago. Additionally, the company mentioned launching its in-house ad tech platform to improve sales management.
