Are you a startup or scaleup in aviation? This is the document you wished you had when you set out on your venture and could have saved you a lot of time and resource. Aviation is a complex, safety critical, regulated environment that is difficult to navigate, particularly for new entrants and scaleups. PAS 1905 has been developed to help organisations accelerate innovation to market by providing guidance on regulatory principles, management systems, and lifecycle assurance processes. PAS 1905 is now out for public consultation and we really want your feedback - from new entrants but also established organisations who are looking to integrate innovation into the aviation supply chain. Aside from my other roles, I think its important to generate relevant standards which can support industry when dealing with the growing at scale. One of these is as part of the BSI steering Group helping to create this valuable future flight guidance to support new entrants and scaleups. These are more dynamic documents that can be drafted through PAS groups and its in this area we can move in these areas. This is one of those, do have a look and comment, all views (critical and positive) are needed.
