EPA Water Sense for POU RO's comment deadline is March 22. If you are in the business of selling POU RO's, please take time to review this program and provide comments. EPA Water Sense has been working on this for some time and plan to finish the program up later this year. ? Main points pertain to four requirements: 1. Minimum Efficiency Rating - 30% 2. ASSE 1086 Membrane Life Test for High Efficiency Membrane Systems (please note that full certification to this standard is not required - just the test) 3. Literature Requirements 4. Tankless RO - which this may be changed in the next version... ? I have commented on previous versions. EPA Water Sense staff were at the WQA Conference last week where I had an opportunity to discuss with them one on one my thoughts on this.
