#CSPs will increase their AI spending by up to 600% in the next two years, according to a 2023 survey by AWS ?? On the one hand, this is hardly surprising, considering the vast number of #AI use cases in telecommunications. For example: ??Improving network performance with AI-enabled automated troubleshooting ???Anticipating fraud with AI-enabled data analysis ??Providing better customer care with intelligent 24/7 chatbots and dynamic pricing optimization ??Optimizing energy infrastructure through real-time monitoring and advanced analytics On the other hand, this new and disruptive technology is not without risks. The introduction of AI into the highly regulated sector of telecommunications poses an added threat to security and compliance. In fact, EY predicts that changing imperatives in privacy and trust due to AI will be the #1 concern for telcos in 2024. What is clear is that the road to making AI a success is a shared one. CSPs should seek to partner with organizations that understand its impact and can support them in getting full advantage.
