Adding Depth and Softness to Classic Elements In our latest penthouse project, we worked with beautiful, classic moldings that introduce clean, structured lines throughout the space. To balance these with a warmer, more tactile feel, we incorporated a variety of textures that add depth and visual softness. This approach brought in unique elements like wood veneer finishes, textured wooden panels, and decorative columns with a concrete-like coating. Inside the moldings, we added handcrafted inlays made with a special mixture, applied by hand to create organic, artistic imperfections that add character. This subtle detail softens the strict contours of the plaster moldings, adding warmth and uniqueness to the space.
