In March 2020, the Fed reduced the reserve requirements ratio to ZERO. For those unfamiliar with what this means, such a decision eliminated reserve requirements for all U.S. depository institutions. This was at the beginning of the COVID pandemic and was intended to be temporary. As with all temporary decisions, more than four and a half years later, the reserve requirements ratio is still at ZERO. The Reserve System must be renamed. You could call it a Fraction-less Banking System at this point! It's probably time to opt for a superior decentralized monetary system: BITCOIN. #Bitcoin #BTC #Fed #Banking
