You can get 90% of the benefits of trade shows without actually attending. Don't believe me? Here's how: Most trade shows have a list of their exhibitors on their website. For example: The SHOT Show is an annual outdoor/hunting/shooting sports show in Las Vegas. On their website they have a list of every company that pays to exhibit at the show. 2,627 exhibitors to be exact. If I wanted to break into this niche, this is what I would do: ? comb the exhibitor list one by one ? run each brand through SmartScout ? make a shortlist of the brands that sell well on Amazon ? Google their contact info ? call them and ask for a wholesale account You can apply this strategy to any trade show in any industry. And think about this: If only 5% of the exhibitors are qualified, you're looking at 131 qualified leads at the SHOT Show. If your close rate is a terrible 10%, that's still 13 qualified wholesale accounts. Unfortunately most Amazon sellers won't take the 10-20 hours required to go through this process.
