Thank you to everyone who attended the “Embodied Trauma” community education CE event presented by Stephanie Kress, PMHNP-BC, LCSW, RYT ??, one of many of our amazing Freeman Health Partners providers. This collaboration with Bradford Health Services today brought everyone together to learn how trauma affects the body and offered attendees insights into the healing process from a holistic approach. Freeman Health Partners provides a range of services, including primary care, Medication-Assisted Treatment (MAT), and comprehensive mental health care, including trauma therapy like EMDR. We are dedicated to individualized care for those in recovery, especially those with dual diagnoses. Our FHP clinic supports clients during the Partial Hospitalization Program (PHP) and Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP), as well as upon completion of inpatient programming, ensuring seamless aftercare as clients reintegrate into the community. We aim to fill the gap in aftercare resources and emphasize the importance of addressing mental, physical, and spiritual wellness for true healing! Stay tuned for more upcoming quarterly events, including our Spiritual Care Network meeting and our next CE event! If you’re interested in partnering for an event, be sure to connect with April Landry, RN!

The Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services now require psychiatric units to follow PAD guidelines to receive funding, and most states have laws regulating how PADs are used in practice.
