Are you a PCN clinical director or lead pharmacist? Help us understand where you are in the process of introducing patient-led ordering by completing a survey before Wednesday, 3 July. You can also find useful guides and information to help with the roll-out of patient-led ordering. These have been developed by the PCB, Community Pharmacy Provider Board (CPPB), General Practice Provider Board (GPB) and NHS Greater Manchester to ensure a consistent approach to operating procedures across GM. The?changes?mean that all patients who can do so will be able to request their medication directly from their GP practice instead of their local pharmacy doing it on their behalf. This new GM approach aims to reduce medicine waste, improve safety and give patients better control over the ordering of their medication.
