Unveiling the 5 objections that make investors think twice about investing in venture builders ?? ?? Investor perceptions of venture builders are highly diverse. Over the past year, we have had many conversations with investors about investing in both our Venture Builder Duodeka, and our ventures. These are the 5 most commonly heard reasons ?????? ???? ???????????? in a venture builder or any of its startups: 1. “I believe that a Venture Builder does not have the same incentive as a 'real' founder, and this makes it not a true co-founder for me.” 2. ”I am afraid that the Venture Builder might suddenly start charging higher fees for its services.” 3. ”In my opinion, Venture Builders take too much equity in the startup, which could harm future funding rounds or an exit.” 4. ”Venture Builders spread their attention across too many startups; for me, there is too little focus.” 5. ”Risk of Conflicts of Interest: I fear conflicts of interest among startups within the same Venture Builder portfolio, impacting fair resource allocation.” From our perspective, the arguments can be convincingly countered, given effective structuring of the business model. However, opinions vary, and venture building isn't a fit for everyone. Luckily, we've engaged with sufficient investors who recognize the advantages of the model.
