By integrating emotional and financial literacy, we equip young individuals with tools to navigate life’s challenges. Our financial literacy workshops cover budgeting, saving, and investing, promoting economic stability and responsible money management. The Leader Within program complements this by providing coping mechanisms and stress management strategies that enhance overall well-being, empowering youth to face obstacles confidently.

Empathy is the ability to imagine someone else’s experience. What is one way we can teach children this life altering character trait? Books can be amazing in the sense that they can be a window into someone’s world or experience. Books allow children the opportunity to “see” what life would be like as someone else. Books can also act as a mirror by allowing children to see themselves in the story. As publishers, we provide these experiences by producing a large variety of people in our books! We think it’s super important for children to have books that allow them these opportunities to learn about other cultures, homes, families and more! We also love for them to see themselves in a book. How do we do this as a Book Bank? We make sure there are diverse books in our collections. If we don’t have ample books, we use money that was fundraised to purchase used books. This Giving Tuesday (December 3rd), we invite you to take your impact to the next level by joining our 3 for $1 campaign.
