Lots of respect for all the other Top20 participants of the Innovation World Cup for presenting so valuable solutions to urgent problems. It was a real joy of sharing the stage with you ;-)
Apparently, more than 500+ aspiring companies were screened for innovative #wearables technologies and IoT use cases.
In the lineup, startups and almost matured companies from all over the world ??? participated, e.g. from #innovation world leading country South-Korea as well as participants from Thailand, Pakistan, Rumania, UK, Germany...
The solutions showed an extraordinary variety from life-saving #healthcare (e.g. winning pediatric relief by Advosense , digestive capsule endoscopy for the gut by BioCam , breast self-exam by Glooma), supporting #physiotherapy (e.g. exoskeletons), wearables with great market timings (e.g. payment with smart-ring by PAGOPACE) and fun-training #gear (e.g. dry-skiing).
Demonstrating our #smartball we at iotis felt perfectly positioned somewhere in between representing a long-term vision for bringing people from a sick-causing passive lifestyle back to an active healthy lifestyle by leveraging lots of short-term and playful real-life #gamification.
We could learn a lot, especially how long product-development in hardware can take although everybody has the highest ambition to shorten time-to-market period as much as possible, from presentations of #entrepreneurs like Paolo Marini,?Erin Webb,?Niels Benson,?Amalric Ortlieb,?Micha?,?Ryan Guterman,?Andrei Feraru,?CHENGHUA WU,?Francisco Neto Nogueira,?Jonas Mast,?Maros Halama, Vivek Ranchhodbhai Patel,?Peeraya Ruthiraphong,?Lukas Schmitz, Minhyeok Ha, Syed Adil Shah,?Joseph Dahirel,?Aalok Rai,?Matthias Kr?mer. As a conclusion, bringing together such a variety of cutting-edge product visions is a real precious moment for the whole ecosystem as it allows cooperative thinking and creation to the fullest.
