I'm excited to share that my first article in my master's program, under the guidance of Dr. Vakili, has just been published! The paper explores the innovative use of erythrocytes as therapeutic carriers, a promising area in drug delivery systems.

Our latest preprint is on ChemRxiv! ?? This was a super fun collaboration with Scott McIndoe and David Leitch, with help from undergrad Antonia Kropp, where we explored the activation and oxidative addition mechanisms of the dialkyl Pd precatalyst (DAB)Pd(CH2SiMe3)2. ?? https://lnkd.in/gTnpTJtp Using PSI-ESI-MS and some charged phosphines, we identified key intermediates and off-cycle species, and demonstrated a low activation barrier for ligand dissociation and rapid formation of active LPd(0) species—key insights as we continue to develop more effective Pd-catalyzed rxns!
