Honoring Romeo Durscher: A Legacy of Innovation, Service, and Friendship. 2 MAR 1975—3 MAR 2025. With profound sadness and immense gratitude, we remember Romeo Durscher—a visionary, leader, mentor, and dear friend. More than a colleague, Romeo was family. Throughout his career in the drone industry and since joining FLYMOTION as a Director, he was integral to our mission: keeping first responders and military personnel safe. His passion for public safety and bridging the gap between technology and real-world operations changed lives. Romeo was one of the most genuine, kind, inspiring people we’ve had the honor to know. His laughter filled the room and his ability to connect with people was unparalleled. Romeo embodied the ethos "service before self," encouraging us to lead full, adventurous lives. Romeo coined “Drones for Good,” revolutionizing modern emergency response to crisis situations. Not simply an advocate, Romeo was often found in the trenches, working alongside those who serve to ensure they had proper tools, knowledge, and support. Romeo’s mentorship and hands-on approach to education left a lasting global impact. Though his passing leaves a monumental void in FLYMOTION and the entire drone community, Romeo would want us to keep going, innovating, and supporting those who serve. We say goodbye with a commitment: to honor his legacy and continue his life’s work. Romeo’s vision, leadership, and heart will always remain here. “Losing Romeo is a heartbreak I never imagined. He was more than a colleague—he was my best friend, my brother in this mission, and one of the most extraordinary people I’ve ever had the privilege to know. Romeo had this rare gift to effortlessly light up a room, make people feel valued, and push the boundaries of possibility. He had a relentless, belief in the power of technology to save lives and passion for innovation. His absence is deeply felt, but his impact will never fade. We will carry forward his vision, dedication, and spirit in everything we do at FLYMOTION. Thank you, Romeo, for your wisdom, laughter, kindness, and friendship. We will keep your mission alive. Fly high, my friend. You will never be forgotten.” -Ryan English, CEO, FLYMOTION

4 天前I had the privilege of meeting Romeo Durscher at an event in Texas. He is an amazing person with a huge heart, always caring for others, in the short time I met him this was obvious to me. My thoughts and prayers go out to his friends and family. Losing someone is incredibly difficult, especially when they fall asleep in death due to such a tragic disease. It is my hope that anyone who wishes to review the following information will find some comfort, as it has comforted me each time I’ve lost someone to the enemy, death. While no human can escape this enemy right now, the information highlights how that will ultimately change in the future. We all deserve to understand the meaning of life, and the answer is truly satisfying. https://www.jw.org/finder?wtlocale=E&docid=500100112&srcid=share
