Following our entry into South Africa in 2024 our Series A close increases the capital we have available to expand operations in SA and UAE. In addition, we we will accelerate our market entry into KSA. We've made tremendous progress in establishing foundational ecosystem partnerships across SA and UAE, which partnerships we aim to embed and broaden. We will replicate this strategy in KSA, with the understanding that these partnerships were instrumental to the growth that supports our Series A close, in a subdued capital raising environment, and will be key to our growth going forward. A huge thank you to our investors including Speedinvest , Endeavor, BREEGA , daphni Evolution Ventures, Mehdi Ousahla, Roy Charles Bates, etc., and similarly to our partners including Investec, Precium, Ozow, Caveat Legal, Outsourced CFO, Yvonne Wakefield, Damian Baker, Christiaan Jacobs CA(SA), Louw Barnardt, Stefano Sciacca , Tranched etc., who enable us to execute against our vision. To the Flow48 team including Idriss Al Rifai, Karim Khattar, Mario Aletti, Henno Loots, Simon Obstbaum, ABHILASH P V, Leandri Roux, Liz Vermeulen, Joan Joseph, Lizaan Dormehl, Cosmin Dordea, Artiom Melnic, Evgeny Barhatov, etc., this journey and adventure would not be possible without each of you. Not only do you make it possible, you make it fun! Look forward to celebrating our next major milestone!

1 周SME lending in emerging markets isn’t just about deploying capital. It’s about embedding into the financial infrastructure—local partnerships, alternative data, and trust. Flow48 seems to get that. Expanding from SA into UAE & KSA is no small feat. Regulators, market dynamics, and competition aren’t the same game. But getting it right means owning a key market in the Vision 2030 push. Also—raising in this climate? No easy task. It says something about execution, strategy, and investor confidence. The challenge now, I expect, is scaling without getting wrecked by risk. SME credit is a goldmine if you crack underwriting beyond traditional collateral models. Excited to see how this plays out.
