The Inspector Information Sessions returned earlier this year in Ottawa, Ancaster, and Okotoks, drawing over 280 attendees from across Canada. Our primary goal is to provide comprehensive knowledge and education for field inspectors from municipalities and consulting engineers. We aim to enhance their knowledge by equipping them with the latest industry standards, techniques, and best practices, ensuring high-quality inspections and adherence to safety regulations. Six interactive stations hosted industry leaders who conducted hands-on demonstrations featuring a range of precast products and product setups. Attendees immersed themselves in presentations covering pipes, structures, reinforcing cages, and gaskets, actively participating in challenging discussions. They also gained invaluable firsthand experience through live gasket installations on maintenance holes. We sincerely thank all attendees and our members for organizing and facilitating these sessions. CCPPA is excited to announce that we will be hosting this event again in February and March 2025. Here's an idea of how to focus on a certain position within technical and physical preparation, while still allowing all the players to work within the group environment. Although all players can benefit from the actions, focusing on players or positions that may have a more prominent role within a session can assist with giving the players ideas that the coaching staff may want to continue to develop within their selected exercises.
