Micro-businesses are collectively speaking - making a significant contribution to the UK economy and to society as a whole.Micro-businesses are companies of up to ten people are not only an important component of the economy but play a major role in the process of “leveling up” disadvantaged regions of the UK. These category of companies collectively and individually, benefit their communities. They employ local people, shop in local shops and tend to look close to home for suppliers. However, not enough is being done to support these Micro-businesses. That support should span from financial, as well assistance in marketing, leveraging latest social media technologies as well as technical expertise.
