Last week, LGBTQ+ tourism leaders met with Brazil's Ministry of Tourism to discuss national guidelines and action plans, and our very own Clovis Casemiro ???? was there to contribute ?????????? This important meeting was led by the Executive Secretary of the Ministério do Turismo, Ana Carla Lopes, the Deputy Executive Secretary, Sandro Vargas, and ASPADI Coordinator, Juliana Paiva. According to Ana Carla Lopes, "the meeting was crucial for fostering dialogue between public authorities, the private sector, and trade associations to develop and implement public tourism policies for the LGBT+ traveler community." At IGLTA, we've grown significantly since 2009: our global network now spans over 80 countries, we've launched numerous programs and fellowships through the IGLTA Foundation to support emerging LGBTQ+ leaders, and we’ve hosted 14 Global Conventions in cities around the world. And through it all, LoAnn has been there, uplifting voices, breaking barriers, and making travel more inclusive for all.
