**DEADLINE EXTENDED UNTIL AUGUST 14TH! We are in need of whole body/physical activity workshops especially.** Please consider contributing a workshop on Saturday, August 31 for the?AA & NHPI Mental Wellness Summit: Embracing Emotions. This summit centers what will come of increasing awareness of our emotional experiences as AA & NHPI people. Awareness is a foundational practice to increasing choice and empowerment when navigating life’s challenges. For many AA & NHPI identity holders, awareness becomes disrupted by dominant narratives including but not limited to perfectionism, familial loyalty, and model minority myth. We are seeking proposals for sessions that will explore the role of awareness in building community resilience. We invite you to submit a proposal for a one-hour workshop (50 min presentation + 10 min transition). There are two types of workshops we are seeking: 1. Educational presentations can entail topics like discussions on intergenerational trauma, how to access mental health care/services, barriers such as stigma or language, managing stress, etc.? 2.
