Last week, I had the incredible privilege of supporting Colorado Women's Chamber of Commerce in their team development, an experience that reminded me once again of the transformative power of women empowering women. In a world where we’re constantly navigating complex roles, it becomes more essential than ever to foster meaningful bonds and connections that transcend the surface. The beauty of women coming together lies not just in our ability to uplift one another professionally, but in the trust and relationships we cultivate both in and out of the office. These connections are what empower us to show up fully as ourselves—vulnerable, resilient, and strong. The space where trust is built is the same space where we are allowed to be imperfect, to lean on one another, and to rise in our greatness together. In this experience with Colorado Women's Chamber of Commerce I witnessed the magic that happens when we prioritize bonding over competition, when we choose to listen deeply and hold space for each other’s growth. This is where true empowerment lies—in the moments of connection, in the quiet spaces where trust is built, and in the shared journey of becoming better versions of ourselves. Too often, women marry their “glass ceilings” - true words spoken by the indomitablr Jingjin Liu. I am witness to many marriages through my coaching clients, and unfortunately, time and time again I see this in action: Male partners dropping the ball at home, both in practical terms or if they do carry some wwight, relying on their wives for the entire “mental load”. Darlings, the fact that he does (way) more than your father did, or his father did, or any of your friends’ husbands do, does not mean they are truly doing an equal share… Unless it’s 50/50, it’s not fair. And if you work fewer hours in a paid capacity, please make sure you don’t over-index for the work at home - something I see happen all the damn time. Quick piece of advice: I have found that the only fair assessment of the division of labour, can be made by looking at (true) leisure time: is that equal? Plus: dividing tasks by including all aspects of it, not just some - Eve Rodsky, Fair Play-style. I am so, so grateful Ben Bratby is my genuine partner, in all ways, to every extent. Choosing him as my life partner was by far my best decision ever!

Amazing Women’s Day!! ?? What better way to celebrate than by spending a fantastic morning with my LEAN IN community!! ?? Our agenda was packed: - We started with fostering deep conversations and self-reflection in circles, exploring different aspects of our lives. Images from Points of You was the enabler! We talked about what’s working for us, what we need to let go of, and what we want to invite into our lives. ?? - Diving into the LeanIn-McKinsey annual report on Women at Work, we analysed the current landscape for women in the workplace. ?????? - Our key highlight of the day was “50 Ways to Fight Unconscious Bias.” We learned about the types of bias, how they hinder women’s progress at work, and discussed several business case studies on bias.
