Sometimes in life, it's important to let go and to trust. To have faith in yourself and faith in the universe. That's me right now. The context is -- for most of the past 6 years -- I've been an 'in the business' product-led cofounder (i.e., blood, sweat, occasional tears) at Modern Adventure. (Shout out to the incredible MO/AD team!!) After stepping away from the day-to-day last year, I was not thinking about joining another early stage startup. And by "not thinking" I really mean *not* thinking. Yet here we are. Or better said - here I am, diving back into the beautiful madness that is early stage startup life with Epicurate (shout out to the incredible Epicurate team!!). It's a double celebration because Epicurate is one of a dozen companies just revealed as part of the Techstars Anywhere '24 class (shout out to the incredible Techstars Anywhere team!!). Scratch that - it's a triple celebration, because we're doing this incredibly hard thing alongside our cohort's inspirational founders and thought leaders. Ag tech to AI-powered storytelling to making space travel safer (yes - space travel!!!) and every life-changing idea in between. I've spent my life in and around travel, hospitality, marketplaces, discovery engines, and product-led entrepreneurs. How amazing is it that I now have the privilege of combining all of my passions into my next great adventure? (Spoiler alert: the answer is amazing.)
