Probably one of the top questions I get from other devs - if I'm logging in with Google, why am I also entering a password? It's because I'm protecting your data _from me_ or anyone who may somehow get unauthorized database access. This isn't for authentication, it's for security. Heavy Resume wasn't built for search, so the platform doesn't have access to your data. Long term, I could see this being moved to a web3 backend, where your encrypted data is stored securely without a centralized database. The password was lower effort to implement. The plan is to get this swapped out with a file that you store on Google drive and then it just becomes automatic. The recovery key is effectively that file.
Protect your account from both snooping and from forgetting your password! You can now download a recovery key to log-in without your password, as well as change your password (which seems like a long overdue feature)!
