#ICYMI: Neutrinos are notoriously aloof, but it’s not entirely their fault. https://lnkd.in/gzm8i59m #neutrino #physics

"Constraints placed on CP Symmetry violation by measuring the oscillating flavors of a neutrino and it's corresponding antimatter counterpart "--- According to the Sakharov conditions,CP violations in leptons could describe the matter--antimatter asymmetry ,which is the reason, why ,instead of they annihilating each other ,we find more matter than the anti matter in our universe. We all are made of matter. In one such experiment carried out (T2K experiment), the probability of muon neutrino oscillating into electron neutrino was observed to be 3 Standard deviations more than its antimatter counterpart oscillations. Thus constraints have been placed on the CP violations by using non- charged leptons. Future measurements with larger datasets will test whether leptonic CP violation is larger than the CP violation in quarks --- https://www.nature.com/articles/s41586-020-2177-0?fbclid=IwAR0dHo5LugfTUnTXRbZSJyzYkcChVEFvQqoys-daL3P66iOxqCtoR8PACAo

They interact only through the weak interaction and at very high energies either with other leptons or quarks.
