Dyslexia is not a sign of being broken . . . It’s simply a different way of thinking and operating. For Rachael Jackson it means relying on images rather than words, even for everyday things like shopping lists! Growing up with dyslexia (undiagnosed), Rachael unconsciously developed coping mechanisms to navigate a world not designed for the way her mind works. Through sports and creativity, she learned to celebrate her uniqueness. Dyslexia does not reflect intelligence or capability, there is just a different way to getting the same thing done. If you have been diagnosed with dyslexia or think you may have it, remember like Rachael that it does not define your limitations - you have a different strength. Rachael now a WIBN business owner defines her own success on her terms, and she thrives by owning who she is and what she stands for. Out today Rachael Jackson on Redefining Dyslexia - listen here ?? https://lnkd.in/erEFuU8Z Not to be missed! Let me know what you think! ????? #dyslexiaawareness #bouncingbackstronger #podcast #embraceyourstrengths #neurodiversity #ownyourlife #empowerment #wibn #businessowner

Have you ever found yourself wishing your teen would open up to someone—anyone—about what’s going on in their world? Many parents I talk to share the same story: they desperately want to support their teen, but their teen resists every attempt to help. I get it. Teens are navigating complex emotions and a desire to be independent, often leaving parents unsure how to approach them. That’s why I recorded a new episode of The Teen Anxiety Maze with your teen in mind. In this episode, I address teens directly—explaining who I am, what coaching is about, and how it can empower them to tackle life’s challenges with confidence. I share stories about real clients (anonymously, of course) who, like many teens, started out hesitant but left our sessions feeling supported, seen, and capable. Here’s what I want your teen to know: They are 100% worthy and lovable just as they are. I’m not here to “fix” them because they aren’t broken. Coaching isn’t about telling them what to do; it’s about uncovering their unique strengths and finding solutions that fit them. My goal? To be the voice they’ll listen to when they might not be ready to hear it from you. If your teen is open to it, have them listen to this episode. Or better yet, invite them to connect with me for a no-pressure conversation. Sometimes just hearing an outside perspective can make all the difference.
