As part of my routine, I like to just take a break every day and leave the office and go for a trail run, get some exercise and just get refreshed and renewed to take on the second-half of the day. And I have this trail that's next to the office. It's nestled in the Santa Monica Mountains. So it's very convenient for me to just get out, get some exercise, and go back to the office refreshed. What, you can't tell? Is that right behind me? Right over there over this hill is the Calabasas landfill. And this has been designated as one of the sites for discarding of. The fire debris of the Palisade fire and it's raised a lot of concern in the community because. Landfill is a Class 3 landfill. It's never designated as a disposal site for wildfire waste. As you can see down there. There are a lot of homes. And there's a school right over there. And there's a lot of wildlife. So here's just some of the wildlife that. You come across here on the trail. This is 1 coyote. There was another one earlier. And they will undoubtedly be impacted. Like the type of waste? That's discarded. Right over there. Or the landfill resides only. There's a petition that's about to be heard to try to enjoin discarding the waste here. And for those that are involved in the community or those that are not involved in the community, one way to get involved. Is certainly to go online and. File your public comments about what you feel about this and see if you could have any effect on those that are making the decisions. Until then, we'll have to see what happens.
