Last year, we partnered with 1,000 families across New York and Boston, offering over 160,000 free items that families need to provide for their little ones. ?? We depend on donations from the community and our corporate partners for 100% of these baby and toddler items. And we need your help to fill our shelves for the summer! If you’re ready to make a difference, here are 4 easy ways you can help: 1?? **Order Donate-by-Mail Bags:** Can't make it to our Family Centers in person? No problem! You can still contribute by ordering a Donate-by-Mail bag. Simply fill the bag with new or gently used baby and toddler items and send it back to us using the prepaid shipping label provided. 2?? **Schedule a Donation Drop-off:** If you prefer to donate in person, we invite you to schedule a time to drop off your donations at our New York or Boston Family Center. Our team will be on hand to greet you and personally thank you for your generosity. 3?? **Host a Collection Drive:** Gather your friends, family, or colleagues and host a collection drive to gather much-needed items. We'll provide you with the materials and resources you need to make your collection drive a success. 4?? **Clear Our Amazon Wish List:** Don’t have baby or toddler items to donate? Consider making a financial donation (and check if your employer will match on our website), or help clear high-need items off our Amazon Wish List. For our New York and Boston centers, we have curated lists of items we need to fill the shelves for our families. You can now easily give with your DAF to over 1 million charities on GoFundMe! ?? Thanks to our new partnership, DAFpay is automatically enabled in gofundme fundraising pages for all eligible nonprofits. Historically, people with DAFs missed out on real time crisis response giving or joining the momentum of an active campaign. When DAF gifts are sent through a DAF portal, it usually takes weeks for the organization to even know they were made and are difficult to attribute to a specific campaign. It’s the dawn of a new day - a DAF Day ?? October 10, 2024 will be the first ever national giving day dedicated to Donor Advised Funds ??? And we couldn’t be more excited to bring this initiative out into the world alongside more than 60 partners ?? Leading nonprofits, fundraising platforms and Donor Advised Funds are all working together on a single day of DAF activation ???? The whole sector can leverage this event to: 1?? Increase awareness of DAFs and their value. Using a DAF is proven to increase a donor’s annual giving to organizations they already support by 96%, but only 17% of adults know what DAFs are ?? 2?? Establish a real DAF fundraising strategy for more nonprofits. 42% of Nonprofits don’t mention DAFs in their marketing at all! Many more are seeking guidance on how to find more DAF donors and track DAF data properly ?? 3?? Activate unprecedented DAF donor engagement and generosity. There’s $230 Billion already set aside for giving and 37% of DAF accounts go unused in a given year! ?? By coming together as an industry, we can make a serious difference in how DAFs are used, when and by who ??? Continuing the exciting momentum we're seeing in the philanthropic world, this fascinating article from Wealth Briefing highlights that 77% of US family offices support charities by giving them access to their aircraft, and that?44% of them say they support the Corporate Angel Network, which is a US-based 501 non-profit organization working with cancer patients to get best treatment by the use of free travel on corporate aircraft. Separately, 16% of family offices surveyed say their budgets for philanthropic causes have increased significantly over the past three years, and 47% said they have increased slightly. #philanthropy #familyoffice https://lnkd.in/eNUygbaG

Bodyguards For Kids was created to unite the security industry for a noble cause, give back to our colleagues through virtual educational sessions and raffle prizes, and show the human side of security. 100% of your donations will go directly to the children at St. Jude Children's Research Hospital. The minimum donation for participating in our virtual educational event is $40.
