It breaks my heart seeing how poison has very much affected the comic book industry. This being the Marxist-feminist ideology of sodomites, pedophiles, and other gender-confused alphabet people. The LGBTQ alphabet people have destroyed the mainstream comic book industry by the use of identity politics within corporate-owned comic book publishers, as well as the woke indoctrination in the content of corporate-owned comic books. This has all lead to a collapse of the Direct Market because readers don't want their comic book characters turned into perverts. They people hate the God of the Bible. They hate America. They hate you. And they hate me. Last Sunday, I was blessed. I was at a signing event. (I sold some comics, books, sketch cover comic books, and original artwork. And I had a table next to some Christian brothers from my church.) Several people were very supportive of my Trump 2024 variant cover for THE SWORD OF EDEN: SHINOBI graphic novel. There was only one person who was not so happy with the Trump 2024 variant cover. This older lady was perusing through my books. When she came to the Trump 2024 cover, she pointed at it, and spat out: “THIS turns me off! You know, you could lose customers with this sort of thing.” (Kinda creepy.) I replied, “That’s why, I also, have the standard cover of the book.” Of course, this old Karen did not purchase anything from me. I’m currently reading All About Black Girl Love in Education and bell hooks and Pedagogies of Love, edited by Autumn Griffin, PhD and Yolanda Sealey-Ruiz. This book really hits home and answers so many of my questions about Black girl love, blending theory with real-life practicality. I’m usually a binge reader, finishing books in just a few days, but this one feels different. It’s like a call and response—the words on the page speak to me, and I respond by underlining, taking notes, and reflecting deeply on my own childhood and experiences. It’s not just a book; it’s a conversation. This journey also reminds me of my first bell hooks book, Ain’t I a Woman, which I read during undergrad at the suggestion of a guy I was dating. Though that relationship didn’t last, bell hooks’ words stayed with me and continue to shape my understanding of love, identity, and liberation. Reading this book is also a powerful reminder that self-care is about radical love and healing. It’s never too late to heal the little girl within you—self-care is a journey, not a destination. Professor Larissa Bowman evaluates today’s eviction crisis and equates it to mass incarceration.?She exposes its disparate impact on single, Black, women with children and argues that although a civil legal processing, it can be conceptualized as on the “carceral continuum.” As such, in line with opponents of mass incarceration, Bowman argues that eviction should be abolished.??Eviction, like mass incarceration, cannot be reformed and academics and activists alike must engage with the project of eviction abolition as a critical facet of the reimagination of the state as responsible for the lives of Black women rather than the profits of white men. “Is America ready for a Black woman president?” That’s what some people are asking. A better question is “How do we get America ready for a Black woman president?” When I began working for Freedom to Marry, a majority of Americans were opposed to marriage for same-sex couples. We knew we needed to get them ready. We had to show them what the freedom to marry would be and how together we could make it a reality. Our strategy was branded The Roadmap to Victory. 1. Grow public support. 2. Win marriage in more states. 3. End federal marriage discrimination. And we explained the strategy in every venue possible to reach as many people as possible to help them understand that we could and would win. It’s the kind of work that the collective we must do now to show the American people that not only can we elected a Black and South Asian woman president, but that we will.?

Let us name things for what they are. Anti-DEI is Pro-White Supremacy. There is no longer the veil of ignorance to run behind. Choosing not to know is part of the underlying issue. And the dismantling of ways to teach and combat these important issues won’t dissuade the push towards Justice and Equity. The battles ahead are nothing new. They have just become more sophisticated in their approach to legitimizing dehumanization. We must in response, become sophisticated in the ways of recentering love, community and educational empowerment.
