As part of this apprenticeship we will be focusing the first few workshops on enhancing our self-awareness, looking at topics such as; ?? Using DISC methodology to better understand our behaviours and communication preferences and how we can be perceived by others ?? Since 2017, the Chicago Apprentice Network has grown from three founding companies to more than 110 companies across multiple industries––and over 2,000 apprenticeships completed. What is the secret?? ? The Business-Higher Education Forum and the Business Roundtable released a case study (linked below) featuring five "Apprentice Network Success Factors," which include: ? 1. Work with local sustainability partner(s) who have experience in regional workforce development and/or higher education. 2. Show the business value and ROI of #apprenticeship (and other work-based learning models) relative to business and talent goals. 3. Drive employer-to-employer dialogue to support best-practice sharing across apprenticeship models. 4. Engage cross-sector organizations to connect local resources across business, talent, higher education, etc. 5.
