As part of the UN Women Australia 16 Days of Activism Against Gender-Based Violence campaign, we’re marching alongside Centre for Women's Safety and Wellbeing to call for action, awareness, and change. This annual campaign, which runs from November 25 (International Day for the Elimination of Violence Against Women) to December 10 (Human Rights Day), serves as a powerful reminder of our responsibility to stand with victim-survivors and work toward a violence-free world.? ? This year, 58 women in Australia have lost their lives to gender-based violence—a heartbreaking 70% increase from 2023. These numbers underscore the urgent need to raise our voices and show solidarity.
