? Reflection, Learnings, and Gratitude: Closing 2024 with Success and Aspiration ? A year and five months ago, one of the most exciting and transformative challenges of my career began: leading DIAGEO's extraordinary Agricultural Planning team. Today, as we close 2024, I can’t help but feel grateful and proud of everything we have achieved together. I’m not someone who typically shares much on this platform, but this year deserves it. This journey has given me valuable lessons and sparked an inner drive to keep dreaming and striving for more. Before diving into the acknowledgments, I want to wish everyone a joyful holiday season. May this December be a time for reflection, self-discovery, and above all, gratitude. Now, to my team: THANK YOU! Thank you for trusting me to guide us toward our goals, for showing resilience through this intense process of transforming agave agriculture, and for being my greatest source of inspiration. Some of the lessons we’ve learned together this year: 1?? Learning begins outside your comfort zone. From diving into a completely new industry for me (I had never worked with agave or tequila before!) to mastering new functions and processes, I’ve realized that real growth emerges in the most challenging moments. The journey may be painful at times, but it always transforms you. “Comfort is the enemy of progress.” 2?? Believe in yourself and trust the process. The talent is there, the capabilities exist. The key is taking the leap, pushing ourselves, and trusting that consistency and commitment will take us far. “Self-confidence is the first secret of success.” 3?? Make mistakes... but make them quickly. Yes, it sounds cliché, but it really works! And if you can make them “cheap,” even better. ?? Every mistake is not only an opportunity to learn but also a way to discover new limits, challenge horizons, and uncover abilities we didn’t even know we had.
