Let's talk about Teamwork

Teamwork is really important for thinking of new ideas and being strong when things are hard. It means you can be sure that even if you feel unsure or shaky, there are many hands ready to catch you, guide you, and be there with you until you're steady again. Teamwork is like a strong base that helps us be creative and strong, knowing we're not alone in facing the good and tough parts of life.

LAYING EMPHASIS ON TEAMWORK IS THE FUEL THAT ALLOWS COMMON PEOPLE TO ATTAIN UNCOMMON RESULTS.

Teamwork is evident when two attributes are present - Mutual Dependency and Mutual Accountability! Mutual dependency is when both parties believe “I need the other person and or their team to be successful”. Mutual Accountibility is when “I’m committed to do my part to ensure my teammate is successful”! These two must be demonstrated, reciprocated and transparent to the broader organization to help influence the culture positively! #teamup

Genuinely care about those on your team who help you obtain results towards effective completion of tasks.? Don't forget to appreciate them for their role in helping you complete your work.? Try not to distract them from their tasks too often, as well.? As they help you, share some insight from your experience if you see them struggling in a task like what you've done in the past.? Your knowledge may save them time in their tasks, too.? That is the meaning of teamwork - especially, if you are their team leader.

They continue to be integral parts of how I lead effectively and help others maximize and realize their potential. 1. Nothing of significance can be done by one person. Teamwork makes the dream work. It is a constant reminder to value others and what they bring to the table. 2. The goal is more important than the role. This is a reminder to keep the end goal. Identify the leading and lagging measures so all stakeholders are aware of what moves the needle toward attaining that goal. Think about your most audacious goal.
