Earlier this week,?#IndoPacificLeadershipLab?Fellows arrived in Hawai?i to begin their year-long program! Yesterday, the second-year cohort met at the East-West Center and were welcomed by Japan Foundation Executive Vice President Dr. Yuri Sato and EWC President Suzanne Vares-Lum. On opening day they joined a keynote address and panel discussions with local experts and researchers on leadership for effective, inclusive, and equitable climate adaptation. A joint initiative of the?@japanfoundation?and?@ewc_leadership, the IPLL brings together fellows from across the Indo-Pacific region to critically examine current responses to climate change adaptation, explore community approaches and their connections to local and regional policy. #IndoPacificLeadershipLab #JFIPP #ewc_leadership #japanfoundation
