Activists, And anyone else who cares, needs to put pressure on #Congress #NASA #ESA to change the program Right now. As the agency’s concept of “permanence” is like a lake house that your family visits now and then. People just do not understand what is really happening. We could easily move much more quickly, and move from footprints to #MoonVillage in a few years, rather than the decades it will take under the current plan. But that would mean space fans would have to become engaged - and as far as I can see right now, even sophisticated space professionals are buying the smoke and mirrors. The irony is that the Space agencies would get a massive boost If the program was more daring, and was really laying the scientific, technical & research framework for people to go to the Moon to build an economy and live.
